SOUTH THAILAND
Well known tourist destinations in the South are Phuket and Koh Samui with its many sandy beaches.
The two provinces of Krabi and Phang Nga have many tourist attractions such as rugged, steep limestone cliffs, beautiful caves, dense mangrove forests and over 100 islands off the coast, the most famous is surely James Bond Island but Poda Island is also highly recommended.
The most spectacular view of the many islands is from the Samet Nangshe Viewpoint. Latest I was there 2024.
